6 French wines, a fizz reception, plenty of charcuterie, and your whole evening sorted.
For our next Clarity Guided, we're taking a Tour de France through wine.
We'll be opening five wines from across the country, starting with fizz before moving through two whites, two reds and a final mystery bottle to put everything you've picked up during the evening to the test.
Alongside the wine, there'll be a generous spread of French charcuterie, cheeses, bread and all the bits that make sitting around a table with a glass considerably better. Everything is included in your ticket, so you can turn up after work knowing the wine, food and evening are taken care of.
Our wine host will guide you through the different stops along the way: where each wine comes from, what makes the region distinctive, how climate and grape variety change what ends up in your glass, and what to look for when you're buying French wine yourself.
You'll taste everything side by side, get into the differences between regions and styles, and work out which parts of France you'd actually go back to.
Then we finish with the mystery wine competition. One final glass, no label, and a chance to see how much you've actually picked up during the night.
By the end of the evening, you'll have a much better idea of how French wine fits together, which styles you actually enjoy, and what to look for next time you're staring at a French section on a wine list.
We're keeping it to just 20 guests, all around one table, with plenty of time to eat, drink, ask questions and get to know the people around you.
Come on your own or bring a mate. It's a proper evening out, with a bit more wine knowledge accidentally picked up along the way.

Two ways to drink with us
Every Clarity event is one or the other. Both are for under 30s, and neither expects you to know anything about wine.
Our socials feel like a great bar night: music, sometimes live, a full room and a party by the end. Each one has a theme and five wines to go with it, and a host who knows their stuff and will happily tell you about any of them. Come on your own, with a plus one or with the whole group chat.
Guided is our smaller, seated format. Around twenty people sit together while an expert opens six wines side by side and talks you through each one: who made it, where it's from and why it tastes the way it does. Every wine is included in your ticket, and you leave knowing more than you came with.
